In partnership with Sotheby’s Realty and with a 6 week deadline before it went to press we set out to create a fully immersive digital experience for the Quadplex Penthouse at 111 West 57th Street. After launching the main site, we set out to craft a dedicated, fully immersive experience that would bring this “sanctuary in the clouds” to life—inviting audiences to explore every detail of a luxury residence that seamlessly blends historic elegance with cutting-edge architectural innovation.

With a 6-week sprint from concept to launch we had to be smart and build in as many efficiencies as possible in order to hit the ground running. We utlized the CMS and technical infrastructure from recently launched main site so we could dedicated our main focus was on crafing the webgl experience which took an intensive 4 weeks to get perfect. In order to fully immerse the audience every detail was meticulously crafted from the behaviour of the clouds, the textures and reflections on the 3D model, the ambient music and wind noise to the smaller animation details. Working with Hayes Davidson we took the original architectural model and optimised it for web.

Beyond exploring the exterior, the experience invites users to journey through the buildings different floors—or “scenes”—each crafted to showcase key features and unfold the story of the Quadplex through striking visuals and thoughtful storytelling. Users can peer through windows to take in breathtaking views or dive into interactive image galleries, revealing cross-sections of the building and detailed floor plans. Every interaction is designed to spark curiosity and give users the feeling of discovering the estate firsthand, making the digital experience as engaging and memorable as visiting in person.

From the very beginning, our goal was to create a seamless, immersive experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile. While we always aim for consistency across all screen sizes, with Quadplex we intentionally designed our system and technical stack with a mobile-first approach. This focus on performance optimization ensured an exceptionally smooth and engaging experience on mobile devices, without compromising on quality or visual impact.
