Nestled in 15,000 acres of pristine mountain landscape of Big Sky, Montana, Yellowstone Club is an exclusive private members' resort offering world-class skiing, golf and fine dining in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. As part of the ongoing digital roll-out we were tasked to create an immersive website that communicates the natural beauty of this spectacular mountain retreat.
As with every new project – and every new development for Discovery Land Company – we made sure we took the time to understand the requirements, attitudes and preferences of the potential residents of this community. This meant we could develop a specific and tailored offering for them and precisely communicate the benefits this unique site and its properties offered. All this, at the same time as heightening the customer experience and optimising the site’s performance.

We were keen to incorporate some new, engaging features which prospective property owners would appreciate had been created specially for the Yellowstone Club community. For example, we included a useful weather API to offer real-time weather updates. Up-to-the-minute details on the Club’s 100+ ski runs can be found on a Mountain/ Ski Lift Information page. We also went back to the drawing board with the template for the Real Estate section, as it had to retain the site’s premier luxury feel, but also accommodate a much larger number of listings than some of the other community websites already designed.
It’s our aim to create equally immersive experiences, whatever the size of screen it is viewed on. And, although this is especially challenging when you consider the amount of video content needed to truly reflect the luxury of the experience on offer, we’re 100% convinced that The Yellowstone Club looks simply stunning – and breathtakingly inviting.
